Henrik Frendin
Henrik Frendin is known as one of the most versatile and progressive string players on the Swedish music scene. His artistical output covers a wide range of musical genres - from classical to contemporary electro-acoustical and modern jazz.
Numerous of compositions for the viola have been dedicated to him. He has together with the instrument maker Richard Rolf developed a new string instrument called Electric Viola Grande. This has led him to explore new concert settings in the field of art & technology together with computer musician Henrik Frisk.
Henrik Frendin is a member of Peter Danemo's group Meloscope Deluxe. New CD is out now!
