Mats Ingvarsson
Bass player Mats Ingvarsson was born in 1966 and is currently living in Malmö since 1994.
He is mainly working as a freelance musician and plays electric and acoustic bass in many constellations. Mats started out as a funk/soul/fusion - musician but has gotten more and more involved with jazz and improvised music in recent years.
Ingvarsson plays modern post-bop with Geri Allen trio, Mathias Landaeus, Fredrik Kronkvist, Jan Lundgren and Anders Bergcrantz. He also performs with Sofi Hellborg, Almaz Yebio, A Bossa Eletrica, Damn/Timbuktu and Soul Quality Quartet, where he writes and produces the material.
