Cennet Jönsson/Peter Nilsson Duo
Cennet Jönsson/Peter Nilsson Duo made their first public performance April 25 2005 at Kulturverket in Halmstad. The duo also made a very successful performance at Lunds Konsthall (May 8).
Cennet Jönsson, saxophones, bass clarinet, flutes and surna and Peter Nilsson, drums and percussion are both members in many other groups such as Cennet Jönsson Quartet och Double Standards.
The music created in this duo is based on free improvisation, but has many references to jazz and ethnic music. A familiar theme, grooves, as well as suggestive soundscapes may appear in a set. Free and varied music without stylistic bounds!
