Stroman/Jönsson/Mick
Newly formed international jazz-trio featuring American singer Scott Stroman, Swedish saxophonist Cennet Jönsson and English pianist Alcyona Mick. The trio is presenting a mix of original compositions and jazz standards. Melodic music with an intricate rhythmical twist.
Scott Stroman and Cennet Jönsson have collaborated for more than 20 years in many different constellations. They have also toured all over Europe with drummer legend Billy Cobham in the group NorthbyNorthwest and performed with big bands, choirs, symphony orchestras etc.
Alcyona Mick is a very talented young English pianist and composer, based in London, active in the International scene in jazz and ethnic music. She is the leader of her own group Blink, a member of the London Jazz Orchestra and is currently touring worldwide with Arabic singer Natasha Atlas etc.
